This is another New Hampshire spot that seems like a local favorite because every time we drive by, there are people waiting to be seated outside. They open at 4:30 (it used to be closed Wednesdays but it is now open 7 nights/week until Labor Day) so I recommend getting there for that time (if not earlier), if you don’t want to wait for a table. If you do wait inside, there is a small area which is air conditioned, with reading material for adults and some toys for children. I absolutely love pasta and can eat it every day so I was very excited to try this restaurant again.

They start the table off with a loaf of their freshly made bread, served with regular butter and a bowl of their garlic butter (absolutely delicious) on the side. It is steaming hot when it arrives at your table, the butter melts right away and it’s just, SO good.

I ordered the Spaghetti with (3) Homemade Meatballs with Bolognese sauce and while the portions are quite large, and I have quite the small frame, I ate all of it (it’s not just because I’m pregnant either- it just tasted SO good). Everyone at our table finished their entire plates. Their meatballs are so good, I actually asked our waiter if they could let me in on parts of the recipe for them but he said he didn’t even know… oh well!

The Spaghetti combo is also very good- it comes with two meatballs and a sausage. This time it was served with their house sauce and it was a hit. Lasagna was another dish that was served and it was light and tasty. I am always apprehensive that lasagna will be too heavy so I never order it but this was not the case. Their spaghetti with roasted red pepper pesto (thin spaghetti tossed with a delicious combination of roasted red peppers, garlic, cheese, olive oil and Italian spices) was a hit. The one dish we had questioned our waiter about was the Spaghetti with Chicken & Broccoli (chunks of chicken and broccoli sauteed with garlic, white wine and rich chicken stock). It tasted good and there were no complaints, but the amount of liquid at the bottom of the bowl had me thinking of Gordon Ramsay being distraught that it was soaked in so much liquid. However, that is just how it is made and it has a bit of an Asian influence to it.

All around, the service was great, the food was delicious and while some people may say that $13.99-$15.99 may be a bit pricey for pasta, I think it was well worth it for the homemade freshness and warmth served with every dish. If you want to have something that is not spaghetti, they also have pizzas, subs, salads and non italian dishes, but since I am such a pasta lover, I don’t know how those dishes would be rated 😉

    1. Oh if I could have pasta every day, I would be a very happy person haha I may have to start being more open to trying lasagna… I must have had a bad experience when I was younger that turned me off of it or something! Thanks for the comment! I love your site!
