Baked Brown Sugar Brie Recipe
Who doesn’t love Brie Cheese? This is the perfect appetizer for any get together, and is very easy to make. What makes brie better? Baking it with brown sugar of course! Enjoy this Baked Brown Sugar Brie Recipe any night- it doesn’t have to be for a party!
Ingredients
1(5 inch) brie round
1⁄4 cup brown sugar
1-2 Tbsp of softened butter
1⁄4 cup walnuts, pecans, or almonds- chopped, optional
Sliced French bread
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325.
Put brie in baking dish or on lined baking sheet
Using a knife, make a criss-cross pattern on the top rind. Spread the 2 tbsp of softened butter on top and then sprinkle about 1/4 cup of brown sugar over the brie. You can also spread some honey on top- it depends on how sweet you enjoy it.
Add a few walnuts, almonds, chopped pecans, if desired.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Serve with sliced french bread, grapes and apples.
