Casa Grecque Restaurant

Posted on November 27, 2013May 25, 2022 by At Home With Joanna

This past Sunday, we celebrated my brother-in-law’s 30th birthday at Casa Grecque on Boul. St-Jean in D.D.O.

I have been here once before.  The previous time, I must say I was not impressed by the food.  This time, I am happy to say, I had a different experience.

The surprise party had around 32 people in attendance and the space they provided us was perfect. There was enough space for all of us to sit comfortably.  It also had enough space for the little ones to run around.  The food was delicious.

Each meal comes with a soup and salad bar to start.

I had the minestrone soup which was very good (especially with parmesan cheese on top).  I then had the grilled chicken and shrimp, with a side of rice and potatoes for my main course. I had a hard time putting my fork down.  They have a peppercorn gravy dip for the chicken that I love. It’s hard not to crave more.

It is a bring your own wine or beer restaurant, and their service is also very good.  They always ensure your glass is full.  I must say, for our large group, the servers did a great job.  I would definitely go there again to try more items on their vast menu.

Also, for those of you with children, on Sundays each child (12 and under), accompanied by an adult ordering a main course, receives their kids’ meal for free!

You can also get a birthday coupon.  Certain restrictions apply; more details can be found online, or, in-store.

Overall, Casa Grecque…

… wasn’t bad!  I would recommend trying Casa Grecque at least once.  It’s not the best Greek restaurant I’ve tried, but I also didn’t get a chance to try everything they have to offer.  It’s possible that they have an amazing other dish, and I just don’t know about it!

If you’re looking for a restaurant that is great for groups/parties, I would keep Casa Grecque as an option.
