Quinn Farm

Last weekend, I was able to go to Quinn Farm for the first time in years.  Located at
2495 Boul Perrot, Notre-Dame-de-l’Ile-Perrot, QC, Quinn’s Farm offers several family friendly activities.

They have an Animal Barn which holds Pigs, Sheep, Chickens, Llamas, Goats, Rabbits and in the Fall, Horses.  The animals they have come and go, so there is no guarantee that you will see all of the ones listed but you can always call them to find out what they do have before going: (514) 453-1510.

Animalbarn

There is also a Farmyard which has several activities such as: a Straw castle, a Slide, a Tire pyramid, Duck races, Mini-maze and a Labyrinth.  There are also several tractors which are fun for kids to pretend to ride.

activity

When you’re ready, you take a ride on the tractor, which arrives every 15 minutes, to get to the area you wish to do your picking.  We went for Pumpkin & Squash Picking, but at this time of the year, Apple picking is also available.  Depending on the Season, they offer several other “picking” options, listed here (dates are approximates):

Crop

The scenery alone is beautiful!  We were very lucky to have the weather cooperate while we were there, although it is starting to get Chilly here in Montreal!

Scenery

I could probably stay on the tractor ride all day, just enjoying the air and the surroundings.  Once we got to the pumpkin patch, it was time to find the perfect pumpkin!  There was a large selection and it was a fun-filled experience.  There is no doubt that special memories will be made while you enjoy your Quinn Farm adventures.

Picking

The prices are also very reasonable.  From May 16th to December 24th, entry into the farm is $5 per person, ages two and older.  For the rest of the year, it is only $2.  I believe we paid a mere $0.45 per lb for our pumpkin.

They also offer Season Passes.  For more information on Admissions, Hours and other details, such as having a birthday party there or group visits, check out their site here.

They also have a Farm Shop full of baked goods, clothing, toys, stuffed animals and more.  It is hard to resist buying pie, jam or honey while you are there, trust me.  If you get a bit hungry during your stay, head over to the Snack Bar!  See what kind of snacks you can have by visiting their Food Page.
