Photos from Mount Royal, Montreal

Posted on November 4, 2015June 13, 2022 by At Home With Joanna

Yesterday, was my two-year “blogaversary” and to celebrate, we went to Mount Royal.  I have wanted to go to this lookout for a few years now since the last time I had been there was far too long ago.  I had been to the Mountain for Tam-Tams during the summer, but I had not been to one of the lookouts in at least four years.

If you’d like a bit of “Mont-Royal History”, I came across this website which has a lot of good information.

This is not the highest point of the mountain, and it is not the best possible view, but for the time we had, we were able to drive to this point and it was the perfect place to enjoy looking out at the City that started it all for me.  Here are a few pictures  I took while enjoying the view.

I don’t love Montreal, just because I live here.  Believe me, I have wanted to travel anywhere and everywhere, just to see where I’d end up.  While I have yet to accomplish even 1/4 of the traveling that I’d like, I must say, I don’t mind residing in Montreal.

If you’re coming to visit MTL, I highly recommend that you take a short trip to see this view in person.  Pictures simply cannot do it justice.  While you’re in the area, you NEED to go to the Orange Julep.  I promise you’ll love their famous drink.
