Winners of The New Hampshire Magazine’s Best of NH for years 2011, 2013 and 2014 and also being the Season 7 Winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars is a testament to how delicious their cupcakes and cakes are.

Having a Sister who made cupcakes/cakes for a living had provided me with all of the cupcakes I could ever ask for so I am not that big on sweets however, I HAD to try these cupcakes and I am so glad that I did. They are DELICIOUS.

They are a tad pricey but heck, when you’re on vacation you have to live a little! We got a box of six cupcakes: 3 of the infamous Maple Bacon (only available on Wednesdays and Sundays!), the Snickerdoodle, the Chocolate Avalanche and the Snowball.

All of the cupcakes themselves were super fluffy and airy, which made eating them a delight. The buttercream frosting on each on tasted different depending on which cupcake you got. For example, the chocolate avalanche’s frosting was more like chocolate mousse- I couldn’t get enough of it and I recommend this cupcake for any chocolate lover.

The Snowball, which is a coconut cake topped with coconut frosting then rolled in sweet coconut was also delicious- especially because we purchased the one with homemade raspberry filling. You never know how much filing you will actually get but they did not disappoint as the filling filled the entire cupcake (this one was eaten with a spoon!)

Everyone enjoyed the Maple Bacon cupcakes and how could you not with New Hampshire Maple Syrup, maple bacon bits, maple buttercream and drizzled with semi-sweet chocolate and even more bacon.

The shop itself is quite small since it shares a location with numerous other businesses, but it has a nice room in which you can eat your cupcakes and watch the episode of cupcake wars. They also have a few of their specialty cakes on display which you can order- they are also, beautiful. It is overall, a really cute and clean establishment, one that I would definitely visit again and again.

For more information, find them on Facebook or their Official Website.

We also stopped in Fields of Ambrosia- a shop full of Natural Products.  Read all about it here.
