Wienstein & Gavino’s Restaurant

Posted on July 8, 2014May 21, 2022 by At Home With Joanna

Located at 1434 Crescent street in Montreal, Wienstein & Gavino’s Restaurant offers the perfect place to dine.  Whether it is for a special occasion, or a quick brunch, the food is absolutely delicious.  And, the service is amazing.

The venue is beautiful with three different floors, two outdoor terraces and a four-sided bar on the street level.  They have a variety of wines and drinks to choose from to accompany your meal.  I had the sangria and it was delicious.  If you get the rum and coke, know that they are extremely generous with the amount of rum.  The drinks delicious and worth the price.

In less than ten minutes after ordering, we received our food.  It was honestly the fastest service I have ever experienced.  Although the service was unbelievably fast, the quality of the food did not suffer because of it.  I was happily surprised.

Wienstein & Gavino's

I ordered the Risotto Del Pescatore which consisted of Lobster tail, shrimp, scallops, calamari, saffron, bisque and butter.

Weinstein & Gavino's

My friend ordered the Pasta Gigi- tomato sauce, cream, prosciutto, mushrooms, basil.

I had been waiting for Gordon Ramsay to make my Risotto for the first time I ever eating it.  Since I knew I would wait years for that, this was a great alternative.  It was so, so, tasty!
The prices are a bit high so it’s not somewhere I would be able to eat every night.  It’s too bad since it is so good, I really wish I could go nightly.  I will definitely go back to try more of their menu.  It was amazing.
